Quickly and cost-effectively meet employer requirements to manage your sub-contractors
As managing contractor and supplier compliance has become an integral part of doing business, more and more employing companies are requiring prime contractors to better manage the compliance of subcontractors. If you hire sub-contractors that go to your employers’ worksites, the ComplyWorks Management System (CMS) can quickly give you the same level of compliance management that your employers enjoy—and that they want to see from you.
CMS is both cost-effective and contractor and supplier friendly. That also makes CMS employer friendly. Instead of wasting weeks getting your subcontractors compliant, CMS lets both you and subcontractors focus on getting work done. For more information on CMS, go to www.complyworks.com/en/Products, call us at 403-219-4792, or send us an email at sales@complyworks.com.
Manage MSDS online with ComplyWorks
We’ve been getting great feedback on MSDSWorks, our online MSDS management tool. Customers ranging from small contractors and suppliers to large employers have told us that replacing binders full of outdated MSDS’ with an online source for up-to-date MSDS’ that can be accessed from all of their worksites has both reduced costs and resulted in an increased use of MSDS. Others have begun using MSDSWorks to get a better handle on which chemicals are at which facility, enabling them to dispose of un-needed chemicals and make better use of their current inventory instead of just buying more chemicals.

Tips & Tricks: How do I know if an employer is requesting my information?
Many employers tell us two of the features they use most often are our service and radius searches to find new contractors and suppliers in specific areas. Once they’ve found you, they add you to their preferred list and have the option to send you an email asking you to release your information to them. But if they didn’t opt to send you an email, or you missed the email, how do you know they’ve requested your information?
Finding out if there are companies that have requested your information is easy:
- Log in to ComplyWorks.
- Click Company on the top menu.
- Click Permission Profile on the left-hand menu. Companies that have requested your information are listed at the bottom of the page in the “Current Requesters” box.

- Select the check box in the “Allow” column beside the company’s name.
- Click Submit.
At any point, should you choose to no longer release your information to a specific employing company, you can restrict access by following the same process of selecting those companies you do not wish to release to.
