Contractors & Suppliers: Final Deadline to Update the Information in Your ComplyWorks Subscription
Each January, you need to update the information in your ComplyWorks subscription before February 1. If you missed this deadline, your status may now show as “yellow” (medium risk) to some employers. The final deadline for updating your information is February 29. If you miss this deadline, your status may show as “red” (high risk) to some employers.
When updating your subscription, please pay particular attention to the following important information:
- If applicable, update your safety and health statistics with your numbers for 2011.
- For all jurisdictions in which you work, ensure your worker’s compensation account number(s), industry code(s) and experience rate differential reporting are correct.
- If applicable, ensure your COR/SECOR information is up to date.
- Update your peak number of employees.
ComplyWorks Chairman's Presentation to the Toronto Board of Trade
On February 7, 2012, Ivan Holloway, Chairman of ComplyWorks, spoke at the Toronto Board of Trade event: Alberta Oil Sands - Fueling Canada's Economy. Part of the Accenture Energy Series, the event featured Alberta's Minister of Energy, Ted Morton, along with:
- Steve Roth, Business Development, Jacobs Engineering
- Ivan Holloway, Chairman, ComplyWorks
- Dave Theriault, SVP, In Situ and Exploration, Laricina Energy
- Lynn Zeidler, VP, Operations and Project Services, Horizon Oil Sands
The theme of the event was the economic benefits that have been created across Canada as a result of oil sands development. Mr. Holloway spoke about innovation in sustainable business practices that have been driven by the oil sands and are now being adopted by industries across Canada and worldwide.
