The Monthly Newsletter From ComplyWorks

ComplyWorks Experiences Exponential Growth!

ComplyWorks continues to grow and increase our service offerings to help you “get ready to work”. The last year has been a busy one, with many achievements that we’d like to share with all of you. We are now serving over 20,000 subscriber accounts. With your feedback, support and help, in the last 12 months we’ve:

  • Added 32 new employing companies in the oil and gas industry.
  • Expanded globally with 4 new industries and markets.
  • Launched our services in both official languages.
  • Increased our subscriber base by over 50%.
  • Increased our staff by 48% to better serve you.
  • Provided over 500 online training sessions, at no additional cost.
  • Joined with CanQual in a strategic alliance that solidifies our position as the premier contractor and supplier management solution in the Canadian oil and gas industry.
  • Launched major new releases of TrackWorks and MatrixWorks, and significantly expanded the online courses available through CourseWorks to include the property management industry.

ComplyWorks attended the 2011 Enform Petroleum Safety Conference in Banff, Canada from May 2 to May 6. After meeting with employers, contractors and subscribers that use ComplyWorks on a daily basis, we left excited about the industry and how our customers are using our solutions to do business more efficiently, more cost-effectively and safer. We listen to you and will continue to grow our services to meet your needs.

Thank you for making the Banff PSC a success again this year. Together, we’re making it easier for employing companies to manage contractors and suppliers, and for contractors and suppliers to “get ready to work.”

Subscriber News: The Full Value of Your ComplyWorks Subscription

One of the questions we’re frequently asked by new subscribers is, “What all do I get by subscribing?” The quick answer is that you’ll no longer have to manually send your insurance, WCB, safety and other information to each of your employers individually. You submit it once to ComplyWorks, and all of your employers that use the ComplyWorks Management System can see it.

But that doesn’t communicate the full value of a ComplyWorks subscription. To illustrate all the benefits and the true value, we took a look at one of our subscribers, a manufacturing and service company with over 200 employees. Since subscribing to ComplyWorks in 2008, the company has:

  • Released its information to 35 employing companies that use its services, saving it countless hours tracking down and understanding the unique requirements of each employer and sending them information manually.
  • Completed 27 orientations for three employing companies. Having access to online orientations saves its employees time by allowing them to complete required orientations before they show up at the worksite.
  • Received over 20 policies and bulletins from employers, ensuring it knows what’s required of it and preventing its employees from being denied access to a worksite because they don’t meet the employer’s requirements.
  • Accessed online training through CourseWorks, saving it the time and money of taking employees out of the field and sending them to costly classroom-based training.
  • Had its 19 registered ComplyWorks users attend our free training webinars.

New Employing Companies For May

The more employing companies that use ComplyWorks for contractor and supplier management, the more everyone benefits. Contractors and suppliers have more work opportunities, and employing companies have a broader, deeper pool of contractors and suppliers—in more places—to hire.

This month, we’re pleased to welcome the following employing companies as ComplyWorks customers:

  • Andy’s Oilfield Hauling—Transportation company serving the oil and gas industry in Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia
  • CBS Construction—General contracting and maintenance services company in Alberta.

Tips & Tricks: 8 Easy Steps To Using Your ComplyWorks Subscription To Find More Work

Many of our employer customers tell us that they use the radius search function on a regular basis to find contractors and suppliers in a specific area or on short notice more than they use Google or other directories. For contractors and suppliers, this turns their ComplyWorks subscription into an effective way to market their companies and find more work.

The catch is in order to be found by an employing company, contractors and suppliers have to list the services they provide in the Directory Listing section of their account.

To list the services your company provides:

  1. Log in to ComplyWorks.
  2. Click "Company".
  3. Click "Directory Listing" in the column on the left-hand side.
  4. In the Viewing Options screen, select "Members only - can be viewed by any registered Employer Company". This will not release your information to all employers. It will only allow them to see your directory listing. You can also enter your corporate email address to make it easier for employers to contact you.
  5. Click "Save".
  6. Click the "Services Provided" tab.
  7. In the "Available" box, locate a service you provide, click it to highlight it, and click ">>" to move to the "Selected" box. Repeat this for all the services you offer. To remove a service from the "Selected" box, highlight the service and click "<<".
  8. Click "Save".

You’ve just made it possible for employing companies to find you with the radius search function! You can increase the chances of getting more work by entering a brief description of your company and contact details on the Directory Page tab and uploading your logo using the Company Logo tab.
