Contractor & Supplier Compliance Management

Implement a custom compliance matrix for each category of contractor or supplier

Not every contractor's or supplier's operations represent the same risk to an employing company. Day-to-day facility maintenance staff do not encounter the same level of hazard as workers on a drilling rig, and a road maintenance crew does not present the same risk to an employer as a demolitions company.

MatrixWorks, our custom compliance matrix solution, enables employers to set up multiple matrices to handle different types of contractors and suppliers, projects, geographical regions, and compliance concerns of internal groups. Designed for ease-of-use, it is easily configured to meet your global and local corporate, industry and regulatory requirements.

Features of MatrixWorks include:

  • Customize compliance matrices that are relevant to specific project or company requirements, ensuring relevant compliance is applied to all areas.
  • Set multiple relevant compliance matrices against multiple contractor and supplier subsets.
  • Apply multiple matrices against a single contractor or supplier list.
  • Continuously monitor and communicate your company's requirements to the field.
  • Easily modify matrices as your requirements change.
  • Expand to meet additional department needs as the system rolls out.

MatrixWorks in use

An employing organization had different hiring requirements for contractors and suppliers based on region, function and work type. For example, the Health, Safety and Environment department was concerned that worker's compensation, insurance and a safety program were in place (as a set of compliance requirements or matrix), while purchasing needed to manage and monitor whether there was a signed contract in place, an MSA, and that rate sheets had been submitted and accepted for each contractor and supplier. By allowing the company to implement a customized matrix for both groups, the employer was able to ensure that contractors and suppliers met the compliance requirements of both.
