Cal Fairbanks is the President and CEO of ComplyWorks Ltd., a global leader in supplying Contractor Compliance Management Solutions. Cal leads the company’s overall vision and strategic direction.
Cal has over 25 years of experience in creating, growing and leading successful technology enterprises. Prior to ComplyWorks, Cal founded and led a successful e-procurement company that specialized in secure electronic financial document exchange.
Over the years, Cal has served as a director of several private companies and organizations including, the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATA) and the Petroleum Technology Association of Canada (PTAC). Cal holds a degree in economics from the University of Calgary, and a master of business administration degree from European University, Business School in Brussels – a top Belgium university.
He actively supports the community and is the founder and co-chairman of the Safety in Schools Foundation of Canada.
David Bischoff has over 30 years of experience in developing and marketing innovative networked business solutions. He leads the overall design and development of the ComplyWorks' systems, while building a team of highly skilled developers who, as Dave says, “Are much younger and smarter than I.”
Over the course of two decades, Dave built up his expertise in internetworking, data security and business continuity solutions, while working at several industry leading technology and telecom providers. Prior to co-founding ComplyWorks, Dave was an executive at an e-procurement company that specialized in secure electronic financial document exchange. During this time, while creating industry-changing technology innovations, Dave developed the design philosophy and core architecture techniques for our flexible and configurable ComplyWorks service platform and solution offerings.
Dave supports the technical and business community by serving on the Board of Directors of other companies and non-profit foundations, creating and teaching accredited software development courses, speaking at universities and conferences, and publishing articles and interviews.
As vice president of business development for ComplyWorks since 2005, Darcy McFeetors is responsible for driving global sales, alliances and business development initiatives. Darcy's key strengths lie in his ability to form trusted relationships with his customers, understand the core business issues they face and provide innovative solutions to meet their complex business challenges.
He also leads ComplyWorks’ new product design, development and take-to-market initiatives. Prior to his current role, Darcy founded two IT companies and spent over 20 years bringing new technologies and services to the North American market.
Darcy graduated from the University of Manitoba with a bachelor of commerce (honours) degree.
Nicolai Massyn is the President and CEO of ComplyWorks’ African operations based in Pretoria, South Africa. Nicolai is a founding member of the Africa operations and has been with the business since its inception in 2011. Nicolai ensures delivery on the global vision of ComplyWorks in Sub-Saharan Africa, with the support of a very passionate team.
Nicolai is an environmental lawyer with 20 years of experience in the functional areas of health, safety and environmental law and compliance management.
He is the founder and CEO of the Green Gain Group, which provides GRC-S (Governance, Risk, Compliance and Sustainability) software and services for African and global organizations where he gained considerable experience in the development and implementation of web and smartphone-based GRC-S and business intelligence applications.
Nicolai is a recognized trainer, speaker and author in the GRC-S field in Africa and also practiced law as a barrister at the Pretoria and Cape Town Bar Associations. He has also read commerce, law and management, and holds a bachelor of commerce degree, a post-graduate bachelor of law and a master of environmental management.
Ivan Holloway joined ComplyWorks’ board of directors in 2005. He offers the ComplyWorks’ executives and board keen guidance and strategic insight based on his tremendous experience in the IT industry.
Ivan spent over 30 years in the IT industry where he was instrumental in assisting, developing and implementing strategies for numerous resource companies and government organizations – allowing them to successfully execute contractor and vendor prequalification systems.
Ivan has held a variety of senior management positions for companies such as Digital Equipment Corporation (now Hewlett Packard) and Sun MicroSystems.
He is a graduate of the Memorial University of Newfoundland with a double major in business and economics.
Ross Wickware is one of the original founders the company that became ComplyWorks. He has been a member of ComplyWorks’ board of directors since 2007. Ross provides counsel to ComplyWorks’ executives and board with his experience in new software service development and operational design.
He also brings over 26 years of military experience with the Canadian Forces and five years of security experience with the United Nations and international non-governmental organizations in Europe, the Middle East and South Central Asia.
He has managed the development and funding of several internet based applications in multiple industries including transportation, logistics and English as a Second Language (ESL) training. Ross is the Managing Director of the Safety in Schools Foundation of Canada, a non-profit organization dedicated to the education of Canadian youth on workplace safety and hazards.
